Saturday, March 5 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Forest Avenue Library comes round the annual Soul Food Festival! Last year over 200 people participated and they had more fun than you can shake a stick at. No lie. Among the delights offered for a low low price are fried chicken, greens, red beans and rice, jambalaya, black eyed peas, corn, sweet potato pie, cakes and cookies, plus your bonus mac and cheese! And if your kids don't like that there are hot dogs. It's the best. All the food for this feast is donated and the money raised goes towards supporting the programs at Forest.
